League Manager's Report

In a repeat of their 2012 performance Belsay Hall won all of their matches and so have won the league again this year. They will also be the Croquet North representatives in next year's Secretary's Shield. Middlesbrough were second with two match wins.

Thanks to the club representatives for sending me the results so efficiently. This has enabled me to send the advanced game results promptly to Chris Williams for inclusion in the rankings. 27 players took part in the league this year.

Two games were played under advanced handicap rules.

Phill Scarr achieved a triple peel in the Middlesbrough v Pendle match, only the fourth time this has been done in the EPL.

I would still be pleased to hear any ideas for increasing the number of teams in the league.
